The Answer Is in Our Pant's Pocket

Look around you, how many people are using their phones? These days, technologies are taking a bigger place in our life. Almost every teenager have cell phones, we use them quite oftenly, but the only place we are not usually allow to use them it is class. I really do not know if it is a good option, because smart phones and tablets affect the development of the brain, but it is also a good way to keep teen at school by making courses interesting and interactive.

First of all, I think that smart phones and tablet affect the development of the brain, many studies proved it. “The Radiological Society of North America researcher’s found that young people with a so-called internet and smartphone addition actually demonstrated imbalances in brain chemistry compared to a control group.” You can develop an addiction, but also there can be damage on your brain. Most of people do not know about those effects and bringing them to class could be worse, our brains need pauses. According to some expert, phone users can also have trouble to sleep, but they can also have emotional and compartmental problems. Researchers from the Boston University School of Medicine found out that mobile devices influences are affecting the development of children. They could have problem solving conflicts, a skill that is important for their future. A bad idea I think!

Second, we know that teenagers need motivation to go to school everyday. What if cell phones were the solution? Everybody needs to find their own way to learn and using a phone to take notes, create graphics, sharing information or to inform themselves. For sure, we need limits, we have to respect our classmates, the teacher and ourself. By using new technologies, we can develop abilities in communication, organisation and more. Yes, it can be difficult for the teachers to adapt, but it is a blessing in disguise. It could be the solution the many problems of the society caused by a lack of education. If everybody could get at least a secondary five the world would be much better. We have to stop teaching in the past and improve our way of seeing things, we are not in the 20e century anymore!

Finally, using cell phones in class could be damageable for our brain, but it could be the solution to drop out. We have to think about it! Is it possible that the solution, to many problems, is in our pant's pocket?
